I said I do not need a king room, just a room consistent with my reservation made over a month earlier and confirmed by phone. I said I had just traveled from Florida starting at 4:30 am eastern time and needed a room. She said she had no idea because they only had two girls to clean 70 rooms. She was very curt and I recognized her voice from my phone call the day before. I told the woman at the front desk I was checking in and she asked my name. central time which is the check in time posted at hotel. After flying cross county on three flights from Florida to Casper, Wyoming, I had to drive two hours from Casper to the hotel in Riverton. A woman answered the phone and confirmed my reservation for six nights but was very curt and seemed annoyed that I disturbed her with my call.
The day before I arrived, I called to confirm my reservation. However, my room was very nice and my experience with all hotel staff after check in was very pleasant. Had I reviewed this hotel based on my experience checking in, it would have been poor.
